If I qualify with a team, does the team have to remain the same for the Australian Open?
|

Pairs - both players from the team must remain together for the Australian Open. Replacements will not be allowed.
Triples - teams must consist of at least two of the team members that competed at the qualifier. Bowls Australia must be notified of the reason for the replacement and the name of the new player. Bowls Australia reserves the right to reject replacement player. |

Can I try to qualify at multiple qualifying events? |
|
Yes. Should you be unsuccessful at a qualifying event, you can enter another qualifier prior to the Australian Open. |

If I enter more than one qualifier do I need to pay an additional entry fee? |
|
Yes. For every time you attempt to qualify for the Australian Open you will be required to pay the AO entry fee. |

When do entries close for the qualifiers? |
|
Generally entries will close two weeks prior to the qualifying event. These dates will be listed as entry forms become available.

How many players qualify into the Australian Open main draw from each qualifying event? |

Once I qualify, what costs are associated with attending the Australian Open? |
|
All costs are the responsiblity of the player to attend the Australian Open - travel, accommodation, meals, etc. |

What happens once I qualify? |
|
After the completion of the qualifying event, Bowls Australia will receive a copy of the official results and will notify each player that they have successfully qualified for the Australian Open. This letter will also include information about accomodation and travel arrangements to Shepparton.
As the Victorian qualifers are immediately prior to the Open these confirmation packs will be available on the day of the qualifying event. |
