The Queensland Open is poised to return to the picturesque Bribie Island Bowls Club in 2010.
With a $40,000 prize purse up for grabs, the tournament features singles, pairs and triples for both men and women and will be broadcast across the nation on ABC TV and Foxtel.
With the game’s finest players in attendance, the opportunity to strut your stuff against the stars of the international circuit is up for grabs, as well as a chance to be among the first to book their tickets to the 2011 Australian Open.
In the singles fields, 64 competitors will gun for glory in the men's draw and 32 in the women's, while 32 teams will contest the men's pairs and triples with 16 teams in the women's draws.
With an abundance of qualifying positions up for grabs, the opportunity to test yourself against the best-of-the-best has never been more opportunistic.
Regional qualifying for the 2010 Queensland Open will be held in Toowoomba and Bundaberg, with a metropolitan qualifying tournament also staged on the eve of the tournament.
The second grand prix on the Bowls Australia calendar, the 2010 Queensland Open will be staged from July 24 to 29.
